Cardio Kick Boxing and Weight Loss

Physical fitness is very important for everyone and is related to two objectives, general fitness and specific fitness. People often go to gym and do lots of different exercises including stepper, treadmill, aerobics and many more. While these exercises help keeping the body generally in shape and assist in weight loss but results are not fast enough. Trainers are constantly experimenting new exercises which can give faster results for people not having much time to spare to fitness.

Cardio kick boxing is very popular fitness exercise which is hitting almost every gymnasium these days. It is basically a combination of boxing, aerobics alongwith martial arts which provides overall toning of body. It is a total body workout which improves over all strength, stamina, flexibility, balance and co ordination of the body while burning fat, which leads to weight loss simultaneously. It can be done for 30 to 60 minutes, depending upon the individual’s stamina. It is said that one hour of cardio boxing sheds 500 to 800 calories which is roughly twice the calories one can burn, doing aerobics or other exercises. This exercise is a great alternative for the people who get bored of their regular routine exercises like brisk walking, treadmill jogging etc and makes exercising a real fun to indulge in.

Before starting kick boxing 10 to 15 minutes warmup exercises included like streching, push ups, jumping jack and others are mandatory, followed by 30 minutes of kick boxing session. This session includes exercises related to knees like knee strikes, kicks and punches. Lastly one needs atleast 5 minutes for cooling down one’s body by stretching as it plays an important role for the beginners to help relax the muscles and avoid cramps. It is advisable to take classes under expert guidance such as that available at our academy in Lenexa, Kansas.

      Ueah, if you watch me kick the bag you’ll see dust fiylng and dust on my shins. That bag is actually filled with concrete powder. Obviously not cured/set cement but it’s heavy as hell solid as a rock. I actually had to train a few weeks before I could kick it full blast. Also interesting sidenote, the kid watching me while he also hits bag is, Rex Redden, a Boonchu Gym (same as JWP) fighter fr NZ. He’s a top champion a real class boxer. His pops was a well known Kiwi boxing Champ back in the day. Rex gave me plenty solid sparring as I remember.

      I am NASM ctfiireed both as a CPT and as a Corrective Exercise Specialist. These are the #1 preferred certs in all commercial gyms in the US. They are all online courses- with an optional 2 day in person seminar-and online tests. I’ll admit when I started working, it was a bit freaky. But I quickly realized that I did have the tools to do the jobs. Also, several states require personal trainers hold a certification -and the national government is moving in that direction. Any NCAA recognized cert will do: ISSA, NASM, ACSM, and ACE being the most popular. You often cannot get insurance -or be insured through a commercial gym- without the cert.Good luck on yours.

    Basicaly eyenvthirg taht is difrent is too something for america.Games,MMA,Kendo(Actualy heard someone say its nothing byut beating with sticks).I could keep reading a list but i think you get the point.I cant take the violence in boxing.Also it gets realy repeptetive.But MMA matches are always fast with litle no no repeating something.Just take a look at a boxer after a match and an MMA fighter after one.Hell some of them dont even show signs of being hit.They just shake it off in a day or two.Also this is the main reason i hate the USA and will never live there.Too many idiots on TV and too many idiots who believe the idiots on TV.Well that and Bush.
