Ninja is the Head Professor and owner of Brazil Academy. He moved from Sao Paulo, Brazil to pursue his dream of changing lives through martial arts. He's been teaching professionally since 2000 and regularly competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Womens Jiu Jitsu
Morena is the head coach for our Women's Jiu Jitsu Program and has taught seminars in the US, Japan, Saint Martin, Mexico, and Brazil. She has won titles in various competitions. Morena is an experienced teacher and always ensures that everybody gets something from her classes, despite skill level

No-Gi
Christian grew up doing martial arts. He started training Jiu Jitsu in 2007 and has been professionally teaching since 2015. He specializes in No-Gi Jiu Jitsu and loves learning and adapting new moves

Adults Gi
After spending 6 years with the United States Marine Corps, then another 10 years as an overseas contractor, Val fell in love with Jiu Jitsu. Promoted to black belt in 2020, Val has won titles on national and local levels. "I'm proud to say, I'm the most OK'est black belt at Brazil Academy" -Prof. Val

Kids Jiu Jitsu
Bethany start training Jiu Jitsu as a kid and immediately fell in love with the art. She has experienced how it can build confidence, respect, discipline, and community. She has a passion for working with kids and began volunteering in the kid's classes in 2017 and has been teaching since 2021

Adults Jiu Jitsu
Stephen has been training Jiu Jitsu since 2017. He's branched out into MMA and holds an undefeated ammature record. He loves studying high level fighters and expanding his technique. He often brings elements of other martial arts into his Jiu Jitsu game. He's been teaching since 2019.
Professor Negro
Kids and Adult Capoeria
Training Capoeira since 2005, Negro has trained and taught with various Mestres across the US, Puerto Rico, and Brazil. He moved to Kansas and began teaching under Mestre Ninja in 2020. He teaches kids, beginners, and advanced Capoeiristas, and specailizes in teaching nerodivergent children.
Kids Jiu Jitsu
Bianca started training Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing in 2012, obtaining a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu, and green belt in Kickboxing. She started teaching children since 2016 back in Brazil. She came to the United States in 2020, and since arriving she has continued to teach kids Jiu Jitsu.

Adult Capoeria
Training Capoeira since 2008, Chuva has been teaching since 2014. "I fell in love with the art from the beginning. Capoeira has given me so much! I have been exposed to new cultures, an innumerable amount of people, new friends, and a world of opportunities"
Professor Bruce
Muay Thai
A black degree in Muay Thai and a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu, Bruce has been training since he was 14 and fighting since he was 18. He has 15 Muay Thai fights and 6 MMA fights. He has won various titles across Brazil. "I'm always looking for evolution and a chance to train with the best."
